Ballycastle Museum is part of the Northern Ireland Community Archive, an innovative new web portal that aims to increase access to the rich diversity of Northern Ireland’s heritage and enable communities to create their own online archives celebrating their cultural heritage.

This website provides access to some of the highlights of our collections. Use the links below and on the left to view our online exhibitions or search our collections. To find out more simply contact us.

Ballycastle Museum is part of the museum services of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. Our opening season is extended outside the core months of July & August by the generous support of the Friends of Ballycastle Museum. Ballycastle Museum Opening Hours

Opening hours:

Easter weekend: Easter Saturday 10am-5pm; Easter Sunday & Monday 2pm-5pm

April–June: Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm; Sundays 2pm-5pm

July–August: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm; Sunday 2pm-6pm

September: Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm; Sundays 2pm-5pm

October–March: Closed.
