By the late 19th century, the archway to the left-hand side of no.54 led to a lane known as both New Row and Wilson’s Yard which housed 14 dwellings. SMcM research based on Griffith’s Valuation registers lists leases 1884-1930. According to the Working Group review (20/02/24), Scarlett’s (no.41) owned two of the houses in New Row which were used as a store (before 1968). |
