Over the course of 2018, residents from the four Clanmil housing schemes came together for a number of storytelling and reminiscence workshops where stories of folklore from historic records were discussed and used to prompt a discussion of our participants’ own experiences, as well as stories that they may have heard, having been passed down by older generations.

The extracts below are a small selection of the stories collected during the project. These, and many others, are transcribed in the Lore of the Land book.
