Oral history interview with Martha Thompson MBE

In this oral history recording, Martha Thompson remembers her childhood growing up in Glenshesk, her school days and farm life in the early 20^th century. Martha also describes her 50+ years of charity work for which she was awarded an MBE.

Additional topics explored include the Capecastle and Ballintoy limeworks, a devastating WW2 plane crash at Drumavoley and its impacts, and advice for younger generations.
