Handwritten letter to Sam Henry. From R. ? Mullan. Dated 27th July, 1926. Encloses verses he is writing for Jamie Adair for ? Hewitt the Crimean veteran to send to his son in America. Noticed in the papers that the Town Clerk of Portrush, Cunningham, read a paper on Tourist development. Refers to the author of the novel 'Gentleman', Mrs Craik as describing Cushendall to the Causeway as "an unknown country". Thinks a new road should be constructed from Cushendall to Portrush. Writes that writers S.H and J.M.R ought to take the matter up. Had asked several Taxi-men? who 'ply'? for hire in Portrush re Keubane?. None of the men had been to Murlough bay.
