Laura Nelson – With this piece I wanted to draw on the history of the Italian Morelli family, in Porstewart since 1911, by depicting their rotunda designed ice cream parlour and cafe in the style of a traditional Venetian paper theatre. Bringing colour, decor and drama alive in this everyday social family space.
