David Turner – When I first saw the early photos of Moores, I was really intrigued by the layout of the shop. I really liked the tall wooden shelving that held material and small white boxes full of bits and bobs. The images took me back to my childhood when my mother used to bring me and my brothers to a shop on Sandy Row to buy socks and underpants. When I was designing the LEGO box for Moores I knew right away that I wanted to use the old 1970s Lego figures which were much bigger than Lego mini figures are today. Total no. of Lego pieces: 500.
