On the Brink: The Politics of Conflict: 1914-1916

On the Brink: The Politics of Conflict 1914-1916 is a vibrant three year heritage led project, being delivered by Mid Antrim Museums Service with Causeway Museum Service and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It
will explore the impact and legacy of war and revolution across Mid and East Antrim and the Causeway areas.

The outbreak of war, the Battle of the Somme and the Easter Rising are key milestones to be explored through exhibitions, workshops and bus tours.

The On the Brink project will support a wide range of activities and special events including:

* Touring exhibitions
* School Workshops
* Community Workshops
* Tours featuring local stories and site visits to war memorials and other heritage sites
* A volunteer initiative to develop tour guiding skills in the local community
* A cross border visit to Dublin
* On line community archives
* Learning resources.
