Eimear Friers – The unit which bob & bert’s Coleraine now occupies was once a leather cutters. When I hear “leather”, leather jackets immediately come to mind bringing with them imagery of 50s youth culture, rock ‘n’ roll and vinyl. My idea was to have a band of leather jacket wearing cups which sit on a turntable vinyl inside the box. The exterior is white and blue candy striped, in reference to the cafe’s colour scheme and traditional wooded beach huts
