Typed letter to Sam Henry from Roberts. Addressed from Englemere, Ascot, Berks. Dated 11th July, 1919. Writes to tell Sam the glass he sent for the Army is now returned to him. The Army Council said the Fund was valuable. Sir Douglas Haig and other Commanders expressed their gratitude to the public and to the staff of the Fund for their collection and allocation. Feared that many glasses were defective due to the war and heavy casualties. Thanks Sam for the help given to him in the work his father started.
