Typed letter to Sam Henry from James McCafferty. Addressed from 18 Magazine Street, Londonderry. Dated 18th October, 1938. Writes re a broadcast in the Land of the Stranger. Sam's song, "The Ould Man" was played in the broadcast. He is thinking of starting work on a programme re Edward Bunting and asks Sam is he has any information, particularly re The Harp Festival in Belfast and Bunting's work with Lynch in collecting folksongs.
