Typed letter to Sam Henry from Anita Berkoff. Addressed from Stepney Green Girls Club, Beaumont Grove, Stepney, E.1. Dated 7th January, 1944. A delayed response to a letter from Sam as she has been busy. Herself and Nelson give New Year wishes to Sam, his wife and daughter. Thanks Sam for the snaps of Mrs Kealey and will send them on to Mrs Birchall to let her see them. Anita recounts positively of her time in Ireland. Asks Sam if he has done anything more on his book. She has taken up the study of relief work and hopes to go abroad to help those suffering. She is taking a course in youth work for 3 months in the East End. Mentions a Mr Curry's death which she read in 'the Coleraine paper'. Asks Sam to remember her to Mr Douglas. Gives regards and best wishes to Miss Given.
