Second page of notes about the cutting down of trees in Ulster. This states that 600 acres of trees have been planted along the Bann and that the Ministry plants 1,000 acres annually. There are regulations in force to prevent the cutting down of trees except under licence. Mr. James Boyd of Kircubbin thought steps should be taken to combat the problem of ivy growing on trees. On the back of this note there is a note about wartime travel restrictions suggesting these should be eased.
