Sam Henry’s Binoculars

Rejected for active service as his work as a customs and excise officer was considered essential, Sam Henry, of Coleraine, sent his binoculars away to Lady Robert’s Field Glass Fund. Etched with number T.348, they were issued to General Sir John Harrington and returned eventually to Sam after the War.
