North Star Dyke - a watercolour by J W Carey. The North Star Dyke is half a mile to the east of the Pans Rock and is a well-known basaltic outcrop. This picture is important as it includes a steamer and a sailing boat of the period and as Carey was interested in boats, his drawing of them is fairly accurate. Courtesy of Ballycastle Museum.
