Page 2 of 4. Typed letter to Sam Henry from Henry Talcott Carpenter. Recommended Sam's services as genealogist from Mr Matthew H. Loughridge of the American Ulster Irish Society, New York. Re 4 brothers of the name Douglas and their departure to America 1715-1725 - Andrew, Archibald, James and Thomas Douglas. They are believed to have settled in Maryland then Pennsylvania. He has noted the names in Wills in the index of Londonderry County and asks Sam to help identify any connections to those who settled in America with surnames Lyttle, Douglas and Ross. Also asks Sam to research the will for the name Houston and Buchanan.
