Page 2 of 2 of typed letter to Sam Henry. Writing while stationed in Northern Ireland as part of the US Army. Met with Mr Kerr at his home, in Lower Lough Erne, several miles were he was stationed. Plans to meet Mr Kerr again with Mr Latey, his band leader and Warrant Officer. Mentions the song 'Fare The Well, Enniskillen'. Mr Kerr has a son called John and daughter called Elma. Writes of the time Sergeant Mann and himself took a boat to Devenish Island. Asks Sam if he is a Mason. Would like to get the facts of the case of the Star Spangled Banner. Plans to spend time off in Coleraine with Mrs Sharkey next month and also visit attractions on the North Coast. Notes that Mrs Kerr knew Sam's wife quite well.
