Page 1 of 2 of handwritten letter from A. Marshall Arter (Dorothy's brother Bertie) to their mother. Writes of being in a tour in a car having covered 1103 miles. He is adamant that his mother remind people in Hampstead he has not been in Wales. He has hired a gramophone for 2 weeks and a dozen records. He has had several invitations - Arbil has invited him to Brighton; Walter Arter for a day at Selsey; the Walkers at Dudley and from the Barratts. Gives an account of his tour through parts of England and Wales. Went to Miss Hodges wedding and returned via Hatfield the next day. Asks after his father.
