Mutual friend of George Shiels. Tells Sam they continually put his name to the local Programme Board who put him in touch with the BBC. He was based in Head Office, London. Norman Hay mentioned to him re the publishing of Sam's airs. Critiques Mr Douglas' radio performance of 'The Broken Hoop'. Mentions Lance Sieveking as having put him in a 'mess' at the BBC. Writes that he enjoyed Norman's article in the Telegraph and mentions John Coulter.
