Page 1 of 2. Carbon copy of a typed tonic sol-fa notation and words to song titled, 'No. 92 - The Hungry Army'. Taken down from Mr Hamilton Hemingway, ex-constable R.I.C., who learnt it from Corporal John Doyle of the Kildare Rifles, 1885. Doyle learnt it from John Bailey, shoemaker in the Bog of Allen and an old soldier of the 'Third Buffs'. The hero of the song was evidently in the Marine Artillery.
