O’Neill’s Ice Cream Cart, with two customers stopping up for a chat

This photo was donated by Billy O'Neill of Stranocum Hall. His family ran an ice cream business from their home, 16 Rodden Foot, Ballymoney, from the 1930s to the late 1950s. Billy and his brothers all helped sell ice cream from about the age of 12 after school and at the weekends. This photo show his brother Leo with one of their horse-drawn carts. They had up to 5 ice cream carts at one time.
