Dorothy writes of Sarah her cook and her wages of £3-10- a month, which is says is a waste of money. She writes she was at a tennis party at Mrs Parsons and that Major from Sount Wales Borderers is to marry someone Dorothy knows of in September in London. She also writes of how she misses horse riding.
