Typed letter from Edward Shackleton, BBC - Spring talks programme finished but will consider Sam's proposal for future. Also relates that he knew Monro, Hamilton and Stallworthy. Dated 10.11.1938. Edward was the son of Arctic explorer Ernest Shackleton, Edward organised and took part in an expedition to Ellesmere Land in 1934 - Bache Peninsula is part of this area.
