Handwritten letter to Sam Henry. Dated 19th October, 1935. Thanks Sam for his letter and for sending 'The Sentimental Bloke'. Also thanks Sam for sending a copy of the Constitution newspaper in which Sam had written an article re Maghera. Russell intended to keep it for his seniors at school. Mentions a James Knowles who would be proud. Refers to a stone, possibly headstone at a Church at the Ballymena end of village.
