Handwritten letter on folded page to Sam Henry. 'Send Marshall poems' written in pencil at top of letter. Feels like they know Sam having heard his lectures, on the wireless and his father often spoke of Sam. Asks Sam if there has been a publication of Irish ballads and how to obtain one. She is originally from Ballycastle. Notes that she has forgotten Irish customs and has been asked to do a talk on the topic. Asking for Sam's help and if he can recommend a book of Irish poems. She is a teacher and plans to read them to her pupils. Her fiance is from Aberdeen so she will live in Scotland.
