Handwritten letter (folded and written on four sides) to Sam Henry from Dorothea Macausland. Passes on her sympathies on the death of Mr William Henry. Thanks Sam for the loan of a book. Her father was interested to hear of Sam's research into the Buchanan family and asks if he would like a copy of a letter sent to family in Scotland. Asks a question re the family of Hannah Conyngham (handwriting illegible).
