Handwritten letter (double sided) to 'Dear Mummy & Daddy'. Writes that he is sorry to hear about Uncle John and Alec [?], particularly after Bunty [?] and the 'doubt about Arthur Cramsie'. Arthur is pleased to hear about Irene's second son. He had asked Lieutenant Maxwell to ring his parents rather than send a telegram. Hopes to be on leave for 2 weeks and to visits home. Writes that he has a lecture to prepare for tomorrow.
