First page of notes taken from Mary Hutton's book on the "Tain Bo Cuailgne", published in 1907. It forms part of the C8th Ulster cycle of heroic tales and tells the story of a huge cattle raid when Medb and Ailill, queen and king of Connacht, invaded Ulster in an attempt to seize the great Brown Bull of Cuailgne. The hero of the tale is Cuchulainn who single handedly resists the invasion.
