B/W drawing of model cottage - A black and white drawing by John Campbell, of the model cottage designed by Campbell which was exhibited at the St. Louis Exhibition 1904. Larger version of 1994/221. Signed by Seagan Mac Cathmoil (John Campbell). John Campbell was born in Belfast. The son of a road contractor (1883-1962), he illustrated many of the poems of Joseph Campbell, his brother, see 1994/110. Much of his art work included traditional Celtic design of which he was a master. The oak frame was hand-carved in the Irish Home Industries Workshop, Ballycastle. Courtesy of Ballycastle Museum.
