Copy of a typed letter to Reginald B Henry from Sam Henry. Re Henry and Buchanan genealogy. Apologises for late reply due to the deaths of his brother and sister. Thinks that his cousin, Hugh M. Henry, was the one who passed Sam's details to Reginald's brother. Gives an account of the two main Henry families in County Londonderry. Sam's side of the family came from Ballyvennox, Macosquin. Sam to work on the Ulster origin of the Henrys in America. He has completed a 'thorough study' of the Buchanan family. Asks Reginald Henry to help him with research re General Daniel Morgan.
