Copy of a typed letter to Eugene Bahn Esq. Writing re Sam's experience of the presence of US troops in Northern Ireland during World War II. Writes of a mutual friend, John Martin, who first introduced Sam to US troops in Northern Ireland. They took them to the Giant's Causeway as an activity. Notes that Sam's wife [Maimie] set up the troops with 'Irish Colleens'. Sam's creation of a booklet on Dunluce and the Giant's Causeway came about from the suggestions of the US troops. Sam gave lantern lectures to the troops in the American Red Cross HQ in Portrush and on board a hospital ship in Belfast Lough. Encloses article re a day spent at Lough Neagh.
