Carbon copy of a typed letter to Mr Hunter. Sam notes that he has collected over 600 Ulster songs and their airs. More than 100 have been orchestrated by the BBC. The airs in tonic sol-fa were presented to the Free Library, Belfast, National Library, Dublin and Library of Congress, Washington. Writes that the collection was made in 1939.
