The volunteer strand of On The Brink 1914 – 1916 has been a crucial element of the project. Volunteers were recruited in two phases across each of the museum services. Each volunteer has received training to develop their own tours of local commemorative sites. A final element in the training will result in our volunteer tour guides being Accredited. That process is recorded below.
