Laura Nelson – Heart & Home sits on a site in Captain Street which is full of Coleraine history. I wanted to try and include all these fragmented artefacts in one story and use the current Heart & Home premises as my stage set. My abstract depiction evokes a Tim Burtonesque surreal world that includes important features such as the Captain’s fountain and Distillery Chimney.
