The execution of Francis McKinlay at Coleraine One of three paintings by J.W Carey commissioned for the St Louis exhibition of 1904, in honour of President William McKinlay. This painting depicts the hanging of Francis McKinlay for his involvement in the United Irish Rebellion 1798.
