Newspaper cutting of an article on Newtownstewart, initialled W.R.H. in pen. The article tells the story of how two local hills got their names, "Bessie Bell" and "Mary Gray". There was a ballad written about these ladies who died of plague in Perth and the song was brought to the Newtownstewart area by Scottish planters.
